Why do clients always want it cooler

Had a call last week where the customer insisted their system wasn’t working because it was only 68 degrees inside. I don’t know if they think they live in the North Pole or if they just want to freeze out all their furniture. Always amusing to see the lengths people go to justify their preferences.

Sometimes I get clients who think their system’s broken just because it’s not a meat locker, like when someone once claimed their home felt like a sauna at 72 degrees. It’s always the odd ones that blow my mind — temperature comfort is subjective but freezing the furniture? That’s a whole new level.
