What's the ideal refrigerant temperature

And i’m curious about the optimal refrigerant temperature for most systems; in my experience, R-410A performs best around 28°F at the evaporator coil. Any thoughts on variations based on different system types or environmental conditions?

28°F is pretty solid for R-410A! I’ve found some systems run better around 26°F, depending on humidity. Has anyone else tested different temps in high humidity conditions?.

I’ve noticed that R-410A can be more efficient slightly above 28°F in certain setups, especially in cooler climates. Humidity plays a big role too — @miller33, have you seen noticeable differences when adjusting for that?

R-410A does seem to favor that 28°F mark for efficiency, but in some cases, I’ve found a slight bump to 30°F can help in certain setups, especially when humidity’s higher… It’s like finding that sweet spot in a comfy chair — just a shift can make all the difference! @mike_r75, have you had any luck with variations in that range?
