Trend templates for faster BAS diagnostics

I’ve built a small Niagara N4 bundle with preconfigured trend extensions (5-minute interval, 14-day retention) and a couple BQL queries that flag hunting SAT loops and simultaneous heat/cool on AHUs; this trimmed my call-backs by about 30% on a 420-VAV site in June. If you want the files or have suggestions for better KPIs, like a simpler way to normalize mixed-air temperature to OAT, say the word and I’ll post the package.

@OP I’ve had good luck normalizing MAT by estimating MAT_est = OAT*(OAD/100)+RAT*(1−OAD/100) from damper cmd and flagging |MAT−MAT_est|>3°F for 15 min to nail stuck dampers and leaky economizers. Small tweak: sample damper position at 30s only during AHU enable to catch the first 5 minutes of ‘panic breathing’, then roll back to 5‑min. If your OAD feedback is flaky, use fan kW plus MAT–RAT delta as a proxy threshold before raising a KPI.
