Struggling with fluctuating AC temperatures

I had a tough day yesterday with a customer’s AC unit that was delivering inconsistent cooling. After checking the thermostat and filters, I found that a faulty capacitor was the culprit. It’s frustrating when the issue isn’t obvious right away. Anyone else run into similar problems with tricky HVAC diagnostics lately?

, I totally relate to that struggle. Once I dealt with an AC that seemed fine until it suddenly hit 80 degrees! Checking the capacitor can help, but don’t forget to inspect the refrigerant levels too.
