Quick call: airflow or charge

Had a 3‑ton split this morning with lukewarm supply and sweating suction; manometer read 0.92 in. w.c. total external static with a packed filter, so I called airflow in under 10 minutes without cracking the gauges. How are you separating airflow from refrigerant-side issues on the first pass to keep the call moving?

Same here — I grab ΔT and coil pressure drop first; with ‘0.92’ TESP and >0.3" across the coil, I fix airflow before even thinking gauges (if the filter looks like a sweater, it’s a giveaway)… If static and coil ΔP are normal but ΔT stays low, I clamp LL/SL temps to sniff out charge trends without tapping. You tracking blower watts against the fan table to catch a lazy ECM?
