Issuing digital manifolds to every tech

Thinking about standardizing on Fieldpiece SM480V across my 5 trucks to cut training time and back up our “precision diagnostics” marketing message. For owners who went all-in on digital manifolds, did you see faster jobs/fewer callbacks and easier onboarding for juniors, or did the cost/maintenance headaches outweigh the marketing and management upside?

We went all-in on SM480Vs across 5 trucks; jobs got a bit faster and callbacks dropped once we standardized on MeasureQuick workflows. The thing that made it stick was a Friday truck check — update firmware, zero sensors, swap batteries, and keep a spare set of clamps/hoses per van — cut 90% of “my manifold’s acting weird” calls and sped up junior onboarding. Caveat: clamps/hoses and the occasional screen are the real cost, so budget quarterly; are you planning to run them through MeasureQuick (https://www.measurequick.com) or just the Fieldpiece app?
