Energy Monitoring Solutions for HVAC Systems

I’ve been exploring different energy monitoring tools that can provide real-time data on HVAC performance… I recently started using the EcoBee SmartThermostat, which not only controls temperature but also offers energy usage insights. It seems like a valuable addition for optimizing energy efficiency in our designs. Any thoughts on other tools or systems you’ve found effective?

The EcoBee’s definitely a solid choice! I recently added the Sense monitor to my setup, and it’s like having a personal energy detective — spotting those sneaky energy hogs. Have you thought about integrating any smart vents to complement the thermostat?

I’ve had great success with the Nest Learning Thermostat — it’s super user-friendly and helps adjust automatically based on patterns. But I found its energy reports require some digging to fully understand. @cfinley922, have you tried it?

I’ve had good luck with the Honeywell T9 thermostat; its room sensors really help target heating and cooling where it’s needed most. It’s smart enough to know when you’re home or away, and that can make a big difference in efficiency. Just be mindful that it can sometimes take a bit to calibrate for the best results.
