That’s it for this week. Keep an eye on these opportunities and apply quickly, as they tend to go fast. Wishing you the best in your job search, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need more details.

The remote HVAC roles I’ve taken were mostly data center controls — Niagara/Metasys alarms, trend reviews, and tweaking setpoints — so highlight controls and CMMS on your resume. Just note that “remote” often means a few site visits for commissioning or PMs, not pajamas 24/7.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

Quick tip from last week’s remote DC job: highlight “change control” and mention running after-hours windows over VPN (screenshots + rollback plan) — hiring managers eat that up when CMMS gets audited. Agree with @csmith on controls, but remote only works if you’ve got a dependable on-site contact for sensor verifications — coffee helps at 2 a.m., it won’t tighten a loose RTD.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

What’s gotten me quick callbacks on remote DC roles is attaching a one-page ‘site runbook’ sample with my resume — alarm thresholds, the notification tree, and how I log RCA in ServiceNow so they see I can operate without a truck roll. If you’re coming from commercial instead, swap that for a simple energy dashboard before/after with kWh savings and note your typical SLA targets.
